Such an amazing song, absolutely love it <3

The song could mean two things in my opinion.. Option 1: It's a promise to a loved one. He says though he'll make mistakes and will let her down, he'll always be there for her (the chorus) He's asking her to break down her walls and insecurities because he'll never leave her, he'll always love and care for her.

Option 2: It's about someone who's sick and trying to comfort their loved one saying they'll stay as long as they can (I'll stand the test of time) and won't leave them alone (You'll never be alone as long as I'm alive) He's trying to cheer her up assuring her he's still there, alive and with her (But keep a smile Cause I'm still here) He's asking her to believe his promise, saying he won't leave without giving her something to hold on to (Please believe in me Cause I don't believe in anyone but you, I'll give you something to hold on to) He'll spend all the time he has left with her because she's all that matters to him (And the time I have, It's yours to take, For what it's worth you're worth it all) He'll stay strong for her even after his time because he knows how difficult it is for her (And I will forever stand so strong for you,I'm yours as long as I am alive)

Either way it's a promise. Truly a beautiful song <3
