We built a house
on sacred ground
What happened out there
now happens in here
Cold sweats and couches
this was the worst of my fears
Help me out,
help me out
Bones made of glass,
I'm starving
for someone to fill
my blood, my skin
Help me out,
help me out (x2)
What's left to talk about?
What's left to talk about?
on sacred ground
What happened out there
now happens in here
Cold sweats and couches
this was the worst of my fears
help me out
I'm starving
for someone to fill
my blood, my skin
help me out (x2)
What's left to talk about?

Great song.
The way I take: A relationship (a house built on sacred ground) perhaps a marriage, but his partner slept with someone else. Which led to severe tension (cold sweats and couches), perhaps leaving each other at this point.
The chorus I take as being desperate for anyone to help. To listen to your story, and get you through it. Going through a break up can be the loneliest time of your life.
Next verse is about the delicacy you feel after a relationship ends. You're desperate for someone to fill the void of emptiness left from the last relationship.
Idk just my thoughts, how it makes me feel.
According to me the song points out that you can build a relation, but the shallowness can invade your thoughts make it sterile... fragile like having bones of glass That's why he says:
I'm starving for someone to fill my blood, my skin
It´s about terorist attack
