Go to Hell, for Heaven's Sake Lyrics
For the love of god, will you bite your tongue
Before we make you swallow it
It's moments like this where silence is golden...
...and then you speak.
No one wants to hear you
No one wants to see you
So desperate and pathetic
I'm begging you to spare me
The pleasure of your company
When did the diamonds leave your bones?
I'm burning down every bridge we make
I'll watch you choke on the hearts you break
I'm bleeding out every word you said
Go to hell for heaven's sake
I'm burning down every bridge we make
I'll watch you choke on the hearts you break
I'm bleeding out every word you said
Go to hell for heaven's sake
(Go to hell, for heaven's sake)
No one wants to hear you (Save your breath)
No one wants to see you
So desperate and pathetic
You think that no one sees this
I think it's time you knew the truth
I'm burning down every bridge we make
I'll watch you choke on the hearts you break
I'm bleeding out every word you said
Go to hell for heaven's sake
I'm burning down every bridge we make
I'll watch you choke on the hearts you break
I'm bleeding out every word you said
Go to hell for heaven's sake
When did the diamonds leave your bones?
Leave your bones!
You're not a shephard, you're just a sheep
A combined effort of everyone you meet
You're all flesh with no bone.
Feed them to the sharks and throw 'em to the wolves!
I'm burning down every bridge we make
I'll watch you choke on the hearts you break
I'm bleeding out every word you said
Go to hell for heaven's sake

Although I might be wrong, this song could be about someone preaching about religion. Generally the song talks about someone who is disliked and therefore everything he says, it is ignored. This COULD fit in with what I said in the beginning or even something entirely different
@alexpaok182 I think you're on the right track. The song uses lyrics that seemingly attack Jesus's divinity and righteousness, however I believe that Oli wouldn't attack Jesus Christ directly. I think the song is meant for a Pastor (who's job is to be a living representation of Christ) who disappointed Oli when trying to convert or preach to him.

I love this song so much! Bit off topic, but has anyone heard of the band FROM INSIDE?? Well I read on Twitter that Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish have written all the music for them cos they are good friends in the UK. Check out their music video for their single BE YOURSELF - FROM INSIDE by searching on Youtube, it sounds very BMTH but still its ridiculous good obviously. Mad that they are doing this too for friends bands now, really love them :D
The song is actually a conversation between Oli and Satan (Lucifer the Lightbearer). Now, many people get into the idea that song was intended for a singular person (girlfriend, preacher..), however we forget that Satan is an actual person, he's just not human.
"No one wants to hear you No one wants to see you So desperate and pathetic I'm begging you to spare me The pleasure of your company"
-It's true. If anyone were to truly have the most evil entitity in the universe speaking to them or appearing before them, they'd want him gone. He is often a desperate a pathetic spirit, always trying to bring what he hates (humanity) down.
"When did the diamonds leave your bones?"
-In Ezekiel 28:12-18, you can find a description of what Lucifer's created intention was and a general description of what he looked like. (He was made of Diamond's and other precious stones). He was made the most powerful and wise of all the angels and was praised before his fall. At the very instant he fell, he became horrifying, ugly and a stain against anything good. He was no longer made of diamond.
You're not a shephard, you're just a sheep A combined effort of everyone you meet You're all flesh with no bone. Feed them to the sharks and throw 'em to the wolves!
Satan is not a shepherd despite his attempt to look like one and ultimately he is a sheep and his created purpose was to serve God. He attempted to manipulate everything against God (A combined effort of everyone you meet) and prefers to care about everything we as humans shouldn't care about, sin of the flesh (You're all flesh with no bone). (Sins of the flesh refers to any physical stimulus that gives you pleasure, could be murder, sex or drugs and all three at once..). Oli rebukes him and shows his anger towards Satan (Feed them to the sharks and throw 'em to the wolves!)
Edit: This really is a fantasy interpretation. As much as I would like to match the song with theology, it's unlikely my description is relevant.

In this song, there can be more meanings but the one I think it means is that he's talking about a person like maybe one that he'd loved and broke his heart.
''I'm burning down every bridge we make'' :the memories they have he's gonna forget them. I'll watch you choke on the hearts you break'' :saying that it's the first time the person has broken someones heart. ''I'm leaving out every word you said'' :leaving is supposed to be the word bleeding..which meaning he's self harming every word they have said because it was a lie.He felt lied to.''so desperate and pathetic'' that the person was using him. ''Go to hell for heavens sake'' :he's broken and mad to the point were he's just like go to hell.
I do agree with a previous commenter that this is about religion. You'll notice in their music video they have a lot of anti-religious images like a cross burning, demonic black eyes, etc.
I'm not so sure its religion in general, though. Its particularly geared towards the people who preach but are really just hypocrites. I think its said towards a single person.
This person used to be truly faithful and good, but that faded away and now they're hollow and don't have much to stand on. I get this from: "When did the diamonds leave your bones?" and "You're not a shephard, you're just a sheep A combined effort of everyone you meet You're all flesh with no bone."
I think this song can be dedicated to the bad side of you. The side you no longer want to be there. ''For the love of god, will you bite your tongue Before we make you swallow it It's moments like this where silence is golden... ...and then you speak.'' I think this is how you feel like everything is going alright, and then things you might be suffering with breaks in. For example if you're dealing with depression - the moments when you don't think about how life is going, you don't feel down at all, ''and then you speak.'' (the bad side) and all is just a complete hell. You want that side of you to disappear. You want it to go to hell.
Ironically the lowest post about this song is pretty accurate.
I looked up the meaning of this song and read an article on how Oli wrote this about himself; trying to distance himself from other sides of himself.
The line "Its moments like this where silence is golden, and then you speak" is about how Oli has been argumentative and outspoken, than later voicing those issues when all it will do is make things worse.
"I'm burning down every bridge we made" could be views as Oli saying everything good that he has accomplished or worked hard to make progress on, just gets destroyed.
Ok anything bout kellin or religion f it cause that's stupid even tho the band openly doesn't like religion (quite sad tbh) anyway enough of that
This song is from oli to oli this song he says is about him talking to himself about the side he believes does wrong and how it needs to be destroyed
For more detail it's off his atheistic views of how you can be the only one who decides what you do is wrong and how you don't need a God or anyone to set rules for you
this song is who his band family and everyone felt when Oli had a drug addiction and that's way it say no one wants to see you witch means no one wanted to see Oli im burning down every bridge we made means who was ruining his relationship with everyone he knows

well my thoughts are a little different all though maybe not correct, it could be a little bit about how people bully others, the lyrics in this song reming me of what bullies say to people?
