The Celebration

When our boys come home, we can expect to hear their tales of gory death and remorse. Nation will comfort them and we'll sing them songs of glory from the dawn. Hallelujah. And then we all can celebrate. Yeah we all can celebrate. Yeah, we'll all sing songs about the end of the war.
Oh brother, bring our children home.
Our former president, well he'll get hanged for all the awful things he's caused around the world. His friends and family will all get hunted down like Nazis when we're done. It's what they are. And then we all can celebrate.
Yeah we'll all sing songs about how we took down the Devil's son.
Oh brother, bring our firefighters justice.
Haven't you seen, the world's been turning around?
There's been an ideological shift, and it's been kept hidden underground.
Haven't you heard your children's words fly over your head?
Does it make you feel bad that you don't understand
a single word that they said?
We'll put back all the laws and restore the Constitution when they're gone.
I hope we make apologies and give more power to the people of the world. Together, live as one. And then we all can celebrate. Yeah we all can celebrate. Yeah we'll all sing songs about the newfound peace on Earth.
