Irresistible Lyrics
Don't try to make me stay or ask if I'm okay
I don't have the answer
Don't make me stay the night or ask if I'm alright
I don't have the answer
Heartache doesn't last forever
I'll say I'm fine
Midnight ain't no time for laughing
When you say goodbye
It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible
I've tried to ask myself should I see someone else
I wish I knew the answer
But I know if I go now, if I leave and I'm on my own tonight
I'll never know the answer
Midnight doesn't last forever
Dark turns to light
Heartache flips my world around I'm falling
Down, down, down
That's why...
I find your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible
Irresistible (4x)
It's in your lips and in your kiss
It's in your touch and your fingertips
And it's in all the things and other things
That make you who you are
And your eyes irresistible
It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss invincible
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
Irresistible
I don't have the answer
Don't make me stay the night or ask if I'm alright
I don't have the answer
I'll say I'm fine
Midnight ain't no time for laughing
When you say goodbye
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible
I wish I knew the answer
But I know if I go now, if I leave and I'm on my own tonight
I'll never know the answer
Dark turns to light
Heartache flips my world around I'm falling
Down, down, down
That's why...
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible
Irresistible (4x)
It's in your touch and your fingertips
And it's in all the things and other things
That make you who you are
And your eyes irresistible
And your kiss invincible
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
Irresistible

This song is about a love between two people that are no longer together. The guy seems to have been hurt by the girl. Whatever she did to hurt him makes him unsure and a little angry of their relationship status. Mostly he is heartbroken, and even more hurt because he can’t seem to let her go
He is indecisive because he is afraid of getting hurt again. However, one thing that he is sure about is how irresistible she is from her lips, to her kiss, to fingertips, to her IRRESISTIBLE eyes. Until he learns to let her go she always be the one for him.
The girl seems to want to communicate checking on him if he is alright, if he is okay, and whether or not he will stay with her (as stated in the beginning of the lyrics). However he refuses to really express how he feels because of the pain already afflicted between them.
She must have done something really bad to hurt him, so hopefully she knows better next time around. However, I don't think he ever lets her know what he truly feels for her.
This is one of my favorite songs of the boys'. It has so much meaning to it, it doesn't sound like just another pop song. I love LWWY and Heart Attack and stuff, but this song is better in a different way. It's just so perfect.
I think this song is about a relationship that's not going well, and they guy wants to leave her, but she's "irresistible" so it's hard for him to leave.
I think this song is about a relationship that is on the rocks. But he knows if she asks him to stay, he will because she is 'irresistible." But he also doesn't necessarily want to say goodbye. He knows that if he leaves and doesn't at least try to work it out he will never know if it would have worked out or not.
It's saying he does know why he is so attracted to this girl, but he is realizing it as she wants to leave.
I think this song is a lot like "Change My Mind", as he doesn't want to leave her but he knows he should. If she only asked, he would do anything, but he knows that ultimately it will end badly, and it's best to get out now, even if he doesn't quite want to.
