This song was inspired by a real event that occurred at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), where a man was assaulted by security over a lack of communication and was tased. He hadn't been aggressive or gotten physical, but four guards had been present to "apprehend" him; Repeatedly shocking him with fifty thousand volts worth of pain. Even when down they shot him again until his heart stopped, and no attempt was made to revive him. He was reportedly shocked for an accumulated time of 25 seconds. The song serves as a reminder of police and security brutality and to stop for a second and intervene if the victim is being abused when he's already apprehended or to stop any problems from escalating in the beginning.
