I’m America’s sweetheart
Tryin’ to get away
You make it hard to leave, but it’s easier for me
Stay, why I'm so afraid
And I had it up to here with the fighting
Baby we're not fooling anyone these days
I don't wanna stray
Boy I'm so afraid

But it’s not love that keeps me here
And it’s not what you want to hear
So I'm going back to Santa Monica, New York to L.A.
Never coming back, boy no matter what you do or say
‘Cause I'm so afraid

And I had it up to here with the panic and the fear
There’s nothing in your heart
Thought that I can make it change
I'm so afraid
But it’s not love that keeps me here

We were just teenagers when we fell in love
Driving in your fast car looking at the stars above
But it was not enough
You should never come between a woman and a dream
And a man who never knew his place
There’s no easy way, to come back from where you came

But it’s not love that keeps me here
And it’s not what you want to hear
So baby now I’m going back to Santa Monica, New York to L.A.
Never coming back, boy no matter what you do or say
‘Cause I'm so afraid, hun-hun

And I had it up to here with the panic and the fear
Nothing in your heart
Boy I thought that i can make it change
Boy, I’m so afraid
But it’s not love it’s just the fear
You've put down for all these years

But I’m leavin' now
I'm going
back to Santa Monica, New York to L.A.
Never coming back, boy when no matter what you do or say
I am done being afraid

And I had it up to here with the panic and the fear
There’s nothing in your heart
I thought that i can make it change
But I'm so afraid

Oh it’s not love that keeps me here
It’s not love that keeps me here
I'm done being afraid
I am done being afraid
Oh oh oh

What I got from the song is that she's in an abusive relationship and she finally worked up the courage to leave. She's not in love with him any more, and that's not what he wants to hear. Every time she tries to leave he beats her to stay. She's afraid of him, and every time she gets the strength to leave, she always comes back because he tells her to or comes find her. But now no matter what he does or say can bring her back, because she's scared.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
