Without Your Love Lyrics
Sooner or later
I'll be heading home
Sooner or later
I'll be on my own
June into summer
I'll wear out my shoes
June into summer
got nothing to lose
Without your love, I'm getting somewhere.
Move in the sun 'til I burn all my ties
Hayfever scratching and watery eyes
I think I've been waiting for this all my life
Cold as dark kisses left frozen in time
Without your love, I'm getting somewhere.
I'll be heading home
Sooner or later
I'll be on my own
I'll wear out my shoes
June into summer
got nothing to lose
Hayfever scratching and watery eyes
I think I've been waiting for this all my life
Cold as dark kisses left frozen in time

From this I can see her stating for the first time after many years of relying on the validation from this unknown person, the time has come to throw away the need to be loved from them. In this awakening, she notices time has slipped in between all of the energy into the person who isn't showing her any budge of emotion to remind her why she ever wanted their love. It is now that she has the strength to pursue her own dreams/desires. Stifling it is, to move only when you have someone else's approval. From my personal story I came to the point at the end of summer with worn out shoes, I would not encourage myself to do better for myself. I was waiting for someone else..now after this atonement within myself and tuning into myself I have begun to get somewhere.
