System Overload Lyrics

This night is living history,
This night is such a mystery,
This night I said I need your system overload,

I lost my life on the Ambassador Bridge,
Placing all my bets on everything,
Keeping all my thoughts in the bridge,
Yeah it was really nothing,

Hey,
Let the fun and games begin,
You got to lose before you win,
And what this really comes down to,
Is hair care and maintenance of the skin,

Hey,
Last night I stood at your bed,
Last night I plotted your end,
Last night I said I need your system overload,
I feel your system overload.
I need your system overload,
Inside my system overload,
Sweet Jesus,

And now you're moving to a quieter place,
For your relentless star fucking,
I'm left to put it all back into place,
Without sucking,

Hey,
It's such an unoriginal sin,
When love is only meant for a rubbish bin,
And what this really comes down to,
Is hair care and maintenance of the skin,

This night is living history,
This night is such a mystery,
This night I said I need your system overload,
I feel your system overload.
I need your system overload,
Inside my system overload,
Sweet Jesus,

System overload,
I feel your system overload.
I need your system overload,
Inside my system overload,
Sweet Jesus,

Cover art for System Overload lyrics by Evil Cowards

"Track 3 on Moving Through Security is "System Overload", a modern take on Romeo and Juliet that is set in turn-of-the-millennium Detroit, where a boy from the techno scene falls for a girl from the garage rock scene. They are star-crossed lovers, they live in Detroit....and they are morons. One member of Evil Cowards comes from Detroit and lived there at that time, but this song is really about Wills. He's the one who took this thing from its original sketch as a much lighter and subdued song called "Digital Jackass" and guided it into it's much heavier position."
