I dont think this song has a specific emotion meaning I just think its more about "oh he theres alot of shit going on right now,ill give you what you need"LOL but yeah it makes me wana punch someone

I don’t understand why but it seems no one is coming to the same conclusion that I came too. In Roman mythology Venus is the goddess of love. This song is about a couple who’s relationship is falling apart. Almost as if the planet Venus had approached them in the beginning but at this point she’s passed them by. Love has left, Venus has left. All that about the sun and it getting hotter may be about them becoming more sexually attracted to each other but loosing their emotional connection causing it too seem as if knives are raining on them in the form of shouting or maybe even (not the interpretation I go with) domestic violence. The line “we have mistaken the toll it has taken on you and I” may be Adam realizing that Venus has left them because of all the arguing or that is what caused all the arguing but either way the relationship has fallen apart. “I give you what you need” may be simply him saying he can physically give her what she needs or that he had at one point given her what she needed emotionally at the time but maybe has since grown past needing it. I don’t know about that last part. For some reason people write this song off or interpret it as climate change for some reason?
