This song is about two people who are falling in love with each other, but are exact opposites, so it gets in the way of their wanted relationship. One is an introvert, the other is an extrovert, stuff like that.

**Basically making comparisons of their personalities here. While the introvert is considered to be "the fuel of the relationship", the extrovert is the one that brings the "spark" into the relationship.

i guess it's your move but i'm watching you

**Here he's saying that he thinks it should be the introvert's turn to make the decisions. He's still watching her because he's still interested/in love in her.

**"I just can't get into your bubble," means that they are both trying to be part of eachother's lives, but because they are so different, they are having trouble. The whole talking about guts is just the feeling you get when you know you love someone so much.

you buy the chips i'll bring the luck you spill your guts i'll mop 'em up i guess it's your move but i'm watching you

**"You spill your guts" is about telling her problems to the extrovert, and he says "I'll mop them up," which is basically him making her feel better and making all her worries go away.

you take your time i'm in a rush and i'm too loud and you're too hush i guess it's your move i'm just lovin' you

**This is my favorite bit because it really hows how different introverts and extroverts differ from eachother. But despite all of that, he still loves her no matter what.

**The introvert talking about how much she is seduced by the extrovert.

i'm sitting thinkin' what we shoulda, woulda, oughtta

**While she sits there daydreaming what their relationship could be.

can't feel my pulse but my head is in the gutta when you're walking in my mind i start to sputter

**Her explaining how much the extrovert makes her nervous but how she still has her "head in the gutter" thinking about what they could be. And when she thinks of him, her heart skips a beat

can't you feel my heart beat break nervous state i'll fake awake

**Once again explaining how nervous she is when it comes to situations like this. Because she is an introvert, it's hard to deal with some people, so she just fakes that everything is okay. Her heartbeat "breaking" is from her heart racing and skipping beats too fast.

but you gotta pull me close even if i decline my bubble's big enough, so come inside and be mine

**Despite all of this, she's consenting and wants to step out of her safe zone to be with the extrovert. She wants him to be a part of her "bubble"-- her life.

i used to think that it was opposites attract but now i know that it's much crazier than that

**Proves my point about how opposites can attract, but dealing with the intense feelings and the consequences of such differing personalities and lives can be challenging.

i bring the white i bring the black you run away and i attack i guess it's your move i'm still watching you

**"You run away and I attack" sort of sounds like the introvert is shying away from him because of her nervous state, but he wont let her because of his dominant personality and his promise to be a part of her life.

i bring my heart for you to take and i show up and you just flake i guess it's your move but i'm wacthing you

**This part probably talks about how the extrovert and introvert were planning for a date somewhere, but since the introvert is....well... an introvert, she'd rather not leave the safety and comfort of her house. (you'd understand what i mean if you're an introvert. introvert = losing energy from people and social situations)

i've moved and now it's your move so let's see what you can bring what happens when you close your eyes and unravel all the string

**This line is talking about her contemplating whether to throw away her "hermit shell" and take the step out of her comfort zone to be with the extrovert.

i got your back and your heart is in my sight you've got my hand and you’re holding all the light

**The part where she talks about the extrovert "holding all the light" is referencing to the fact that the extrovert is making all the decisions in the relationship. She has his back and he's holding her hand, so they still want to be together.

it's just like we're meant to be holding so we can break free

**Her explaining how "it was meant to be" and how if they hold onto eachother, their differences won't even matter anymore because they balance eachother out.

and i'll be you're star if you'll be my galaxy if it seems like you can rock this, then that's all i need

**This ending is so cute because it's her saying that she'll stay together with him as long as he takes the lead and is ready to take the challenge of being together with someone as complicated as her.

This is really one of my favorites by Rabbit Junk and it perfectly describes how opposites can attract because they balance out each other. <3
