Cell Out Lyrics

She asked me if I was a singer then called me has-been
She said she really liked my band in the early 90's
I said stop saying those mean things, my ego is so fragile
And then she called me a poseur punk
Why don't I drink up and get the hell out!
Cuz I'm a sellout

That berating kinda bummed me out so I left the Parkside
I walked to my Volvo and noticed I had a couple slashed tires
But adding injury and insult to vandalism
Someone took a key to my door and boldly spelled out
You're a sellout

It says on the side of my car that I'm a sellout
I play a Korean guitar but I'm a sellout
I'm a sellout

just realized this song is about a night out at Thee Parkside in SF. I saw Fat Mike there once after an Angry Samoans show recently, he was super cool. (i didnt slash his tires or key his car, i swear)

Jeez if NoFx sold out then then it must have been a pretty shitty deal.... Are'nt they all still piss broke??

NOFX makes a ton of money, dude. They're far from broke. Fat Mike is a millionaire.

Anyway, this song is pretty self-explanatory, in which Fat Mike is making light of critiques and older fans calling NOFX "sell outs".

@Tricky1979 @GaragePoet actually NOFX isn't that much of a money maker it's the fact Fat Mike is smart and got two college degrees and made a record label which makes them money
