I was really curious to know the meaning of this song, but I found that nobody had commented on this song so I tried thinking about what I thought of it. I wrote a story in my head to help come up with the meaning of this song.

I think it's about a girl who loves a man, but she is so quiet that he doesn't notice her. He is too busy wanting to "find the sea" and be full of the success. The girl decides to help lead his way to victory and success so that he could stop focusing on trying to get there. When he gets what he wants, finally might notice the quiet girl and how loyal she has been to her.

This is my interpretation, other people might see it as a friend trying to help another friend to light.

i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS SONG! to me it means that a person likes/loves someone and she/he is trying to convince him/her that she/he is the one for him. she/he doesn't tell him this directly but if she/he did tell him directly how she/he felt, this is what she/he would say.

This song instantly reminded me of Wind Beneath My Wings. I also agree with MirlyMe's interpretation. This is like the girl trying to help the guy and in Wind Beneath My Wings he's looking at their relationship in retrospect.

From Sande’s Gospel background. I think this song is about trust and faith in God. “Wherever you're standing I will be by your side. Through the good through the bad, I'll never be hard to find”. Meaning no matter what struggle or hardship we may experience, we always have God. Regardless how weak or defeated we may, rest assure God will be our river and take control. Have faith and believe.

I agree with @Adminadmin. This song is talking about God. Having that trust and faith in God. Matthews 17:20 talks about if you have even a little bit of faith, as small as a drop of mustard, you can say to the mountain move and it will move! Deuteronomy 31:6 says that the Lord will never leave your side. The people who commented below and thought it was talking about the love between two people are people who are still searching for real love. God is love. 1 John 4:8.

The only part that throws me off the the part that says: I can't make your load much lighter I just need you to confide in me. Refers to 1 Corinthians 10:13 where it says that God won't give us anything we can't handle, he will always provide a way for us to endure it all. Praise God!! Glory to God!! This song speaks the truth but only those who know the truth realize it!!!
