No Bones Lyrics

My mind is a colour to get out my mouth
My tongue is a pill that i can't spit out

Make no bones, about it
We're older now, than i like to admit

My midnight image casts no shadow
An overturned city as our grass will grow(?)

Make no bones, about it
We're older now, than i like to admit

Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time

Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time

Each steps on a snake fills my lungs(?)
Hallow suit by slip of the tongue(?)
No bones no turning back i
She knows me better than i
No blots no semen it's energy wasted

Make no bones, about it
We're older now, than i like to admit

Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time
Suppose it's the right time...

great song, got such a dark tone to it!

tried my best to figure out these lyrics but a few lines i still wasn't quite sure on, and so those are the ones with the (?).

This song sounds to me like it's about the fear, and realization, of one's mortality (which makes the pun in the chorus so awesome - make no bones, as in, speaking plainly about something; and defleshing, skeletonizing, decomposing, etc.) The kind of opaque verses allude to feeling uncomfortable in one's body; and "Suppose it's the right time" sounds like kind of a tossed-off, nonchalant, but underneath it all quite frightened and confused acknowledgment that there's no choosing the right time for death. The tone of the music kind of suits such a morbid interpretation though doesn't confirm it.
