Such a violent and sexy song! I love the comparisons to the seven deadly sins. The meaning is really straightforward, but it works for it -- this is a blunt, in your face song about enjoying life in the fullest and grittiest manner possible, and not giving a fuck.

Also, I had no idea this was sung by a female until I looked up the band! Her voice is INCREDIBLE.

Im sure they're referring to their DOC Meth/Ice. And Im assuming they like to inject it. lol. I love doing a heavy bump of some fire. im absolute in knowing they're speed-loving royalty, 'shove your kiss strait through my chest' is the metaphor used to describe the on-set of our Rush! The heat bursting from our hearts and that fire licking over our body! jesus, it sounds sooo good!

this song is literally about the use of meth. because Maria Brink (lead singer) is actually on meth, she wrote a song about it. there's no deep meaning to it, it's just about meth.

in her latest pic post on her official; instagram page, she displays her new pic for the wonderland. and sh write, "that's 'flowers' i'm smoking not a cigarette". being old skool and doing drugs 20 leagues above this, smoking 'flowers' gives the same effect as crank, crack or meth. it gives you a euphoric feeling along with energy, HENCE the damn name of the ong 'Adenalize We continue,a nd it's blatantly clear what she's talking about in the first verse:

I'm here for one drug, I'm only here for one thing."

That 'drug would be 'flowers' "can you fly like your free" getting high.

I think I've made it clear without going any further. I had a forum board started for fans, and becoming really addicted to the music and maria brink, with almost 2000 pins on pintrest and I'm in a turmoil within myself and my past to delete every bit of it as I cannot promote a band that openly and suggestive and displays the use of drugs. I thought all this emotion, this performance, the love for this music, was all from the heart...but it's all drug induced, be however natural it is, it's still a chemical that enters your body tyo alter your state of mind and action. It's simple. It's about the natural rush of adrenaline. Adrenalize is a term they made up. The suffix -ize means to become or become like. Adrenalize would basically mean to get her adrenaline pumping. Someone can be addicted or at least seem addicted to it easily. A lot of these lyrics are exactly what adrenaline junkies say. Her preferred methods are music for audible, love for emotional, and sex for physical. The "drug" is a metaphor for the adrenaline. While adrenaline is pumping it can temporarily change your perspective, just like drugs can. The reason why she would die without it is because the world seems dull when you have had a rush of something and are addicted.
