In Another Land

Well I’m in another land
By my own hand
And I didn’t have nothing to eat
But a candy bar
And a cup of orange juice
Just before I went to sleep
So I haven’t packed a meal
No I haven’t brought the proper clothes
So I’ll probably picnic with the vultures
If I can’t find my way home
Too easily lured as I wormed to the bird
But what was I to do
Because my thoughts get to wandering
At the time of the explosion
Like thoughts are supposed to
Conversation with my neighbors was just as boring
As talking to myself in the mirror
I need a vacation from my routine
But I didn’t think it’d bring me here
Well I’m in another land
By my own hand
Pink meadows and high mountain peaks
Its all kind of nice but I’m feeling restless
Because I don’t know where its going to lead
Thought dinosaurs were extinct
So why would I think they’d be greeting me
With a friendly smile even though all the while
They’re thinking about eating me
Well my heads too heavy down in the valley
So I’m going inflate
On the helium breeze that’s floating by me
Now every thing’s feeling great
Flowers waving pretty girls saying
�Hey would you like a thrill?�
Their smiles drip as I float on ships
And I ride with them until
They’ll vanish in the blue
They’ll do that to you every time you’re getting close
Swallowed by the stars like the angels that they are
Where they are now, no one knows
Well I’m in another land
By my own hand
And its all that I have left
To keep me warm as I cross the border
And the air starts to smell like death
Clouds cover over head
Ghosts make the bed that I’m bouncing on
As my skin gets soaked by the raining bones
In the shower of skeletons
