Glass Houses Lyrics
They talk of glass houses
Well I built a crystal cathedral
And I took my stones to the rooftop
To play target practice with people
I was to young to know the difference
I was just following orders
When the glass shattered around me
I learned a good lesson about my disorder
I thought I was happy
I said all the right things
I naively believed that my ship couldn't sink
But it did
You got hung up on the outside
You fake like you're living the good life
But death and decay on the inside
Just add pride and hate to your long list of crimes
Somewhere deep down you know the difference
Between love and following orders
But if the chorus I sing is offensive
It's proof that you've yet to address your disorder
You thought you were happy
You said all the right things
You naively believed that your ship couldn't sink
But it did
You thought you were God and
Judge of all of your friends and
You naively believed that your ship couldn't sink
But it did
Grace comes to those who wait
Comes to those who pray
Through tears they'll sing
We'll all sing
We thought we were happy
We said all the right things
We naively believed that our ship couldn't sink
But it did
We thought we were God and
Judge of all of our friends and
We naively believed that our ship couldn't sink
But it did
Oh, it did
Oh, it did
Well I built a crystal cathedral
And I took my stones to the rooftop
To play target practice with people
I was just following orders
When the glass shattered around me
I learned a good lesson about my disorder
I said all the right things
I naively believed that my ship couldn't sink
But it did
You fake like you're living the good life
But death and decay on the inside
Just add pride and hate to your long list of crimes
Between love and following orders
But if the chorus I sing is offensive
It's proof that you've yet to address your disorder
You said all the right things
You naively believed that your ship couldn't sink
But it did
Judge of all of your friends and
You naively believed that your ship couldn't sink

You know, the song talks about people believing they're good and stuff, and they, we believe we can get salvation trough religion or good acts, but that's not the way. They want to express that.
It talks about "christian" and none christian people, how we believe we are good enough for heaven and God's Holiness but, guess what? WE ARE NOT EVEN FAR FROM IT.
There's nothing we can do to win salvation or God's love, it's only by the GRACE of HIM that we can be saved.
The Bible says: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"(Ro. 3:23) We deserve to die, we deserve hell, by our sins we must die. BUT we can be saved from it by repentance and faith alone in Jesus Chirst. His blood covers and cleans all of your sins, failures and heartache.
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
Only trough, in and, by Jesus is true freedom, love, live , way and; salvation.
SO, IF YOU DIE TODAY WHERE YOUR GOING TO PASS YOUR ETERNITY? HEAVEN OR HELL?
by: WE ARE NOT EVEN FAR FROM IT
