I love this song so much. I love it even more that it was used for the "The Host. Choose to Listen." soundtrack. This describes the feelings so well, between Wanda/Melaine, Jared, and Ian. One of my faves. Um, Team O'Shea forever!
Tbh, I'm not particularly a fan of Ellie G, but I love how well this song went with the live-action trailer for God of War: Ascension! I realize the version used for the trailer was a remix (Living Phantoms Remix), but it just suited the game so well. I feel it really went well with the pain and hardships Kratos goes through. I was unaware said song was also used in the film 'The Host' until now, but I wold like to see how that goes too :).

It seems a little obvious at first that this song is about love. But if you dig a bit deeper you will realize that she is asking her lover what is wrong between them. "Touch me and then turn away" means he uses her and then doesn't care anymore. "Tell me if you feel this pain, because I don't want to be a ball and chain" means she wants to know if he feels the friction between them and doesn't want to be the crazy one destroying the relationship.
