I'm pretty sure this song is about aliens taking over earth, them being the prehistoric dogs that come from outer space. And then them killing so many humans that we turn into zombies that don't die and fight them off but we've since turned to savages and act like the prehistoric dogs, because we humans would go off the rails if we didn't have death to guide us.
