Yup, I'm quite sure this is all the interpreting this song needs. :D There are times when profundity is irrelevant considering the mood being set, and this is why I'll always be a fan of both Adam and Carly Rae. Impossible to feel down to a song like this, and I believe that's the idea behind it.

I really, really hate Carly Rae Jepson. Everything about her just screams "bad pop artist". But you know what? I love Adam. Maybe collaborating with him will affect her style, and not his. After all, Adam wrote the song. Maybe this is a good thing.
The last comment by frogoacle makes me want to puke. Adam Young doesn't seem the type to party all day and waste money. This song is simply about enjoying life, not partying. Is it so wrong for an artist to release a happy, fun, more pop like song once an a while?

After the part when the guy sings "Good morning and good night," then the girl sings "I wake up at twilight." That female voice sounds just like Diana Agron ("Quinn Fabray" on Glee) did on many of her song performances. However, I was surprised to find out it was Carla Rae Jepsen singing. Not a one-hit wonder after all!
