Think she’s calling me inside,
As I smear soot beneath my eyes,
Take my clothes off in the night,
Pray for anything to spark the light.
The giants in-between,
All the snow that we can see,
Force black outlines in the distance,
As they wear down my resistance.
Let me fall-
Asleep-
Beneath-
Your body stretching over me.
I can’t-
Relax-
You see-
When you aren’t watching over me.
If ever I am lonely,
There are stars far down below me,
I just have to dive,
Down deep beneath the bottom.
And if ever you are missing
