i think it's more about before yellowcard went on hiatus and ryan was really distant and not fully 'loving' all the fans. There was a part in his life where it was 'dark' and the fans have pulled him out of it and now that he's back he's realising just how much everyone loves him and how much he returns it and is thankful for it. and the 'always summer' might be a reference to warped tour where ryan feels the love particularly or something like that it's just what i think but it feels like it's just a thank you to all the fans who've stuck with them
