I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone
I crashed my car into the bridge, I watched, I let it burn
I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs
I crashed my car into the bridge

I don't care, I love it
I don't care

I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone
I crashed my car into the bridge, I watched, I let it burn
I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs
I crashed my car into the bridge

I don't care, I love it
I don't care

You're on a different road, I'm in the Milky Way
You want me down on Earth, but I am up in space
You're so damn hard to please, we gotta kill this switch
You're from the '70s, but I'm a '90s bitch

I love it
I love it

I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone
I crashed my car into the bridge, I watched, I let it burn
I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs
I crashed my car into the bridge

I don't care, I love it
I don't care, I love it, I love it
I don't care, I love it
I don't care

You're on a different road, I'm in the Milky Way
You want me down on Earth, but I am up in space
You're so damn hard to please, we gotta kill this switch
You're from the '70s, but I'm a '90s bitch

I don't care, I love it
I don't care, I love it, I love it
I don't care, I love it
I don't care, I love it, I love it
I don't care
I love it

    My Interpretation

I just read all comments to this song and you completely miss the Swedish cultural context in your interpretation, with one exception francescalivion (that, on the other hand, say they are british). You should interpret it more or less literally. She breaks up with a guy and then start to enjoy her freedom by doing crazy things. Maybe not crashing a car into a bridge but possibly throwing her (or someone else's) bike into the water from the said bridge. The boyfriend is quite much older (born in the 70s, while Aino and Caroline are born 86 and 87 respectively, that is, their childhood is during the 90s). She accuses this guy for being boring (different road vs milky way), probably just enjoying watching TV at home etc while she wanna travel, go to night clubs, meet new people and so on. She also realises that she enjoys her new independent lifestyle.

Crap song by crap band. They where crap when I first saw them on a small festival 2011, they are still crap when I saw them on bigger stages this summer. The only good thing with this band is the name, which is brilliant. But a name does not compensate for major un-indieness.
