Luciferian Blues Lyrics

Gone
you left without warning
your phone is no longer calling the warm
All of my days in the sun have melted away
I’ve been lost
For what seems like a lifetime I’ve crossed
That bridge for the last time
I watched as it burned asunder
it came down like thunder as I walked away
Cast me out set me free
I left with my doubts and my dignity
No devil to shout at no angels its true
Bittersweet luciferian blues
Home, this watery grave all alone
with no soul to save, all my bones
Were ground to fine powder as i hit the water it washed me away under tow
You’re my only friend now I know
what happens at the end of this road
I begged for forgiveness in vain it was useless
I’m better off here on my own
Cast me out set me free
I left with my doubts and my dignity
No devil to shout at no angels its true
Bittersweet luciferian blues
It’s all just a matter of time
‘til we shatter like glass in the night
Like a tree that once silently fell
On dark forest as lonely as hell
and I barely made It out alive
but I came out on the other side
No regrets, no apologies while you’re up there and down on your knees
Cast me out set me free
I left with my doubts and my dignity
No devil to shout at no angels its true
Bittersweet luciferian blues

to me, it's pretty clear this song is about the choice to reject man-made religion.

no regrets, no apologies

religion in general. i've always had a hard time figuring out what skiba is. he says he was raised atheist and the line "no devil to shout at no angels it's true" definitely backs that up. but is he an atheist or something more dark? Alk3, Heavens, theHELL, and now The Sekrets all have underlying satanic meanings to them. Heavens not so much. I would just like to know if the lyrics he writes that lean more towards the evil side are genuine or just a show.

The song's about someone dying of an overdose and going to Purgatori. For example, when he say's "I’ve crossed that bridge for the last time, I watched; as it burned asunder, it came down like thunder as I walked away".
