Helium Lyrics

Don't call it
Defeatist
I don't want it
I need it
I'll cog in
Machine it

So long as
That feeds it
Too fogged up
To see it
Too absent
To leave it

But I'm patiently waiting for
My windfall to come
I'm patiently waiting for
My savior to come
Impatiently waiting for
A savior to come

There's perfect symmetry and shapes
Inside my heart
And I will take them to my grave
Win or lose; it's not up to me

I put my feet up in the air
Will you hold them still for me
Notice how the tables and the chairs
Tend to float

But I'm patiently waiting for
Rainfall to come
I'm patiently waiting for
Savior to come
Impatiently waiting for
Savior to come

Also, gotta say. This is Bellyfulla Pt 2 without a doubt, from the whimsical tone to the "oooooh ohhh" voices in the background.

"And I will take them to my grave / When I lose; it's not up to me" is what I'm hearing.

Lyric Correction

Thanks! That was definitely a spot where I took a shot in the dark. However, now listening to it again with what you said in mind, I think it's "Win or lose; it's not up to me." You hearing that too?

Aha, that does sound even more like what it is. Good ear. I haven't seen the album art yet, or any packaging other than what's in the videos - did Brent include a lyric booklet or anything else in there?

Nope, no booklet or lyrics. The packaging is very clever/unique but also minimalistic in terms of the info it provides.
