We; Camera Lyrics

I called around for a teammate to bury my treasure in,
Divide and conquer with.
We spent the night by the railroad tracks, exchanging names.
We hit it off. We were the same.

No one is sure what to make of you.
We are insane these days when left alone.
I hung a camera from the ceiling boards,
Called in the witnesses, who said the same.

Coming up to meet you,
There's a body there that hasn't quite escaped.
And if you return, there will be trouble.
But if you stay, please believe
That I will care as much as anybody else will bother to.

No one is sure what to make of you.
We are insane these days when left alone.
We spent the night by the railroad tracks, exchanging names.
We hit it off. We were the same.

Golly I love this song.

To me she's singing about meeting a new person whom you totally click with. You can be weird and odd with them, you're both on the same path. She's pretty sure of their compatibility despite other people perhaps warning her against it. The other person isn't totally ready to be all there with her either, so she makes it known that as soon as they are... it will all work out and she'll be there for them like the other loves in their life.

That my take on it :o) ?
