Desperation Breeds Lyrics

Beekeeper sing of your frustration
In this litigious breeze
Of accidental pollination
In this era without bees

We keep breeding desperation
In this era of thieves
Who keep stealing respiration
From the tenderest of trees

This peculiar incantation
Sure you heard it before
Instead of breeding desperation
Make me a pallet on your floor

Cover art for Desperation Breeds lyrics by Andrew Bird

I'm not schooled in the art of anything remotely connected to the categorization of music - especially classical, indie, artsy fartsy, hipster, new age, schmancey pantsy, thought provoking audible communication (as a matter of fact - I likes the funky Nawlins stuff) but this artist reminds of why we should never "compartmentalize" musical genres, generations, styles, juxtapositions, and jams! Caught AB twice in H-town, and he's the gift that keeps on giving. This song is beautiful, that's all folks!
