Angel's Lullaby Lyrics
Midnight moonlight shining through the curtain lace
Paints a perfect picture on your perfect face
One sweet angel sleeping in my arms
You are the promise I knew God would keep
You are the gift that makes my world complete
And you'll never know how much I love you
But I'll keep on telling you my whole life through
Now I believe in miracles, and you're the reason why
So dream on while I sing you my angel's lullaby
Paints a perfect picture on your perfect face
One sweet angel sleeping in my arms
You are the promise I knew God would keep
You are the gift that makes my world complete
But I'll keep on telling you my whole life through
Now I believe in miracles, and you're the reason why
So dream on while I sing you my angel's lullaby

I watched Reba's TV show (in re runs) yesterday and the main character sang this song as she held her first grandchild. It's a beautiful lullaby, made even more special when sung to a newborn baby who has yet to leave her footprint on this world.
I had had numerous miscarriages and then lost my left tube and ovary from a ruptured tubal pregnancy. I tried for years to get pregnant again, took fertility treatments and no matter what I couldn’t become pregnant. I gave up and just prayed. I left it in God’s hands that there was always adoption. I would easily love any child as my own biological or not. Just a few months later I found myself pregnant again. I prayed and prayed to make through the first trimester since that’s when I always miscarried. After that my doctor told me if I took it easy I could possibly have that prayer answered. My son Joshua came 5 weeks early and was a small little frail but adorable little boy. I had my miracle angle child. I loved him from his conception and talked/sang to him constantly every day. I first heard this lullaby by Reba, years ago. I instantly fell in love with it as it spoke to me reminding me of things I said myself to my infant son at that time. I literally could have written that song because u actually said most of those statements in that song. It is a beautiful sing for anyone with a new baby but especially for those who had troubles with pregnancy or had a baby with issues. They all are gifts from God for us to live for all our lives!!
