Never Say Die Lyrics
96 power...
You know you wanna wanna
Because you’re gonna gonna
Below the low tide
We never say die
I’d like to try to
Sit down beside you
But when I say dark
I don’t mean the shade
Well I’m prepared to
Fight and defend you
I’ll never doubt you
A ribbon tied to
Above it’s their time
Down here it’s our time
Ah, ah never say die
Live on, or be gone, or live on, or be gone
Or wake up, or break up, or wake up, or break up
Never say die
96 power...
You took the low road when you missed your window
You got it all wrong with the ah-ah inferno
Don’t give up the ship
Or else the scale will tip
But when I say dark, I don’t mean the shade
Well I’m prepared to
Fight and defend you
I’ll never doubt you
A ribbon tied to
Above it’s their time
Down here it’s our time
Ah, ah never say die
Live on, or be gone, or live on, or be gone
Or wake up, or break up, or wake up, or break up
Never say die
Because you’re gonna gonna
Below the low tide
We never say die
I’d like to try to
Sit down beside you
But when I say dark
I don’t mean the shade
Fight and defend you
I’ll never doubt you
A ribbon tied to
Above it’s their time
Down here it’s our time
Ah, ah never say die
Or wake up, or break up, or wake up, or break up
96 power...
You got it all wrong with the ah-ah inferno
Don’t give up the ship
Or else the scale will tip
But when I say dark, I don’t mean the shade
Fight and defend you
I’ll never doubt you
A ribbon tied to
Above it’s their time
Down here it’s our time
Ah, ah never say die
Or wake up, or break up, or wake up, or break up

I think this song is about The Goonies.
"Down here its our time" "Never say die" "Don't give up the ship/The scale will tip..."
What in the world is "96 power"?
the darkest song from "Reign Of Terror"
It's inspired by The Goonies for sure. But then it's song about dying I guess. Maybe dying of some close person. Like you wanna help him or her, but you know that you can't do anything... He/she will die anyway. And you suffer as well as ill one. ("I’d like to try to sit down beside you, but when I say dark, I don’t mean the shade")
Well, I think this is about a relationship between two people with different beliefs. The second person hates the first one because of his lack of faith.
"Or wake up, or break up" According to the narrator, the second person is manipulated by religion. So, if that person "wake up" to reality, they won't "break up".
"Above it’s their time Down here it’s our time" It proves the persona's lack of faith.
