Teenage Dream Lyrics

Good evening
Let's have some fun, right

Before you met me, I was alright
But things were kinda heavy, you brought me to life
Now every February you'll be my valentine, valentine

Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance until we die
You and I, we'll be young forever

You make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream
The way you turn me on, I can't sleep
Let's run away and don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance until we die
You and I, we'll be young forever

You make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream
The way you turn me on, I can't sleep
Let's run away and don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

I'ma get your heart racing in my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight

"How we all feelin' tonight?
Let me hear ya
Sing along if you know it
Let's go"

Yeah

(You make me) you make me (come on)
Teenage dream
The way you turn me on, I can't sleep
Let's run away and don't ever look back
Don't ever look back

No, no, look at me
Just one touch, now, baby, I believe
This is real, so-o-o
Don't ever look back, don't ever look back

I'ma get your heart racing in my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight
Let you put your hands on me in my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight (woo)

Cover art for Teenage Dream lyrics by Darren Criss

The Blaine Anderson character sings twice this song in Glee to Kurt Hummel. The first time is right after they meet, Blaine grabs Kurt's hand and runs to take him to a performance by The Warblers. Then the all-male singers and performers make an awesome choreography related to this song, which moves Kurt, who is in awe of handsome Blaine. It is perfect as the beginning of a love story between Blaine and Kurt.

The second time Blaine sings this song to Kurt is in the episode "The Break Up." It is a completely different situation, Blaine looks desperate, disheveled, it's sad and awkward to watch, a prelude of their eventual break up, kind of reminiscing of happier times that are gone.
