Bluebird Lyrics

My bluebird, my blue bird can fly as far as I can see
My bluebird has everything I need
My bluebird, my bluebird knows my deepest desires
My bluebird, my bluebird will catch me just before the fire

I'm down on the river baby, but I'm stuck on the other side love
From a rope my heart is hanging, water rises on a lonely soul

My bluebird, my bluebird wing can fly above it all
My bluebird will help me stand and be strong
My bluebird, my bluebird will never beg upon a knee
My bluebird, my bluebird knows I need to believe

I'm down on the river baby, but I'm stuck on the other side love
From a rope my heart is hanging, water rises on a lonely soul
And I'll take my chances breathing, ain't never gonna hold my breath
Because I know if I stay waiting, my lonely soul gonna bleed to death

My bluebird, my bluebird knows my deepest desires
My bluebird, my bluebird will catch me just before the fire

I'm down on the river baby, but I'm stuck on the other side love
From a rope my heart is hanging, water rises on a lonely soul
And I'll take my chances breathing, ain't never gonna hold my breath
Because I know if I stay waiting, my lonely soul gonna bleed to death

Cover art for Bluebird lyrics by Ryan Bingham

This song, at least in my interpretation, is a man in love, with the woman who changed his life, but there is a gap, a distance, whether physically or emotionally. She’s a strong woman as the song goes: My bluebird will help me stand and be strong My bluebird, my bluebird will never beg upon a knee My bluebird, my bluebird knows I need to believe.

The man, at least in my situation, was the truth in this.

I'm down on the river baby, but I'm stuck on the other side love= basically down, in a bad spot, and stuck away from his love.

From a rope my heart is hanging, water rises on a lonely soul=the heart is there, he’s putting it all out there but the water rises because she’s not taking it.

And I'll take my chances breathing, ain't never gonna hold my breath= it’s all or nothing, he has to have her and he’s trying to show her, taking the chance of the heart being destroyed.

Because I know if I stay waiting, my lonely soul gonna bleed to death=the stark reality, she doesn’t come back, the soul will bleed out, being a fatal ending to love.

Could be completely wrong in my view of the song. But I had a bluebird, she never came back, but never was fully gone.
