To me, having lived in the small town of Caledonia. Michigan most of my life, This is someone that has been away from his home for a very long time and Is finally going home again to everything that means so much to him. I love This song sung by my favorite lads in Celtic Thunder. There is also a Caledonia in Scotland (which is probably the one this song is about) and also one in The state of Wisconsin. These are only my thoughts on the song. It makes me Lonesome, and I haven't left yet!!
I'm surprised no one commented yet... I don't really know what Caledonia means, but this song is sung so beautifully it makes me cry every time. The Show was performed perfectly in every way with the original members, it's my favorite show of theirs. This song sounds like a love song to me, maybe to a person or land. I don't really know, but I love it!
