Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
I think the thing I love about this entire album is that all the tracks are part of the story, but could just as well stand completely alone. I pretty much agree with Zoobe40. It's about trying to escape the things that you were a part of, but realizing there's no way to rid yourself of them. He has learned to accept that by the end of the song.
No matter how far we go
There's no escaping the glow
We'll take our seats at the throne
Wonderland is now our home

This is the only song on the planet that makes me cry. Stunning lyrics and that last verse kills me everytime.
This is definitely the greatest track on this album. I am in love with this song.

i figure its about escaping what you thought you didn't want but finding out you cant escape it and leave with it as your home.

I agree with what cue the sun said. One of my most favorite song on this album. And I like zoobe 40's spot-on interpretation.
I forgot one thing. The last minute of the song is the best part..
No matter how far we go It's all a fragment of a whole Even if all locks are keyed Or calloused become our feet
No matter how far we go There's no escaping the glow We'll take our seats at the throne Wonderland is now our home
Also, this song title is taken from a line that Dorothy says in "The Wizard of Oz"
V
"When dawn arrives We'll be ten drinks deep. If we can fight off turning horizontal, We'll explore our new home And find similarities at every turn."
Sounds to me like it's about homosexuality.
hahahaha, that is great
