this song is so awesome, it sounds really trippy when they're whispering 'this is the last night in my body..' and then it goes silent for like 8 minutes and then they start repeating parts of the armistice, its an awesome way to end the album

actually, it is a concept album. I heard on some interview from the band (i can't remember where. sorry.) that it is about how your brain can tell you something is impossible and your nerves can physically stop you from doing something, but your heart still has power over your emotions and you yourself ultimately have control of your life. you just have to have the drive to use your heart to your advantage.
I could be totally mistaken that the band actually said that, but my theory makes sense if you listen.
seems like the whole album is a conflict between your heart and reason. The hidden track sounds very robotic in terms of the vocals...very droning too. maybe the brain won over the heart? that would be a shame...
I think the hidden track is a contrast. You've got the monotonous, robotic vocal parts singing "we're all marionettes"; but there's also the melodic choir - which could represent the heart, asking the brain who's really pulling the strings.
