This is basically the only “romantic R&B song” that I’ll ever like. He sings this beautifully. It's the only song I've ever found romantic, and dang is this song ROMANTIC. The mood and story are powerful and the narrator is interesting likable, almost submissive ("all alone with you makes the butterflies arise", "But the thought of you just caves me in, the symptoms are so deep, it is much too late to turn away"). Totally unlike those other black guy sexy songs that are essentially softcore porn thinly veiled by a crappy beat, this song is sweet like a fluffy fanfic.
