It say that all our fears are just products of ourselves or just in your head. You have to fight against these fears in your life and if they win it's your DOWNFALL.
This track seems to be about being consumed by fear and inner demons, which leads to everything collapsing. The “monster” it mentions is a reflection of the guilt, anger, and self-destruction inside, which can strangle hope and kill trust. It warns you to run and free yourself from the all-consuming fear, and fight back before it cements your downfall, and all you hold dear will fall down.

Well, like a lot of songs, this one could possibly be to do with a drug addiction taking over.
To me, it definately sounds like it's being written from the point of view of something that is taking over another one's life. It may be drug addiction, or it may be something else taking over. But I'd definately say the song is about having your life taken over.
this song is wierd, in meaning. it seems as if he loves torturing his prey, or whatever, but actually, he feels bad about it or doesnt want to torture him(maybe he is being forced to do so?), and hopes for his prey to not die. that is y he says "survive this" and stuff like that
