Mandy Moore’s Song “Cry”, the true meaning. Watch the movie AWTR, that will explain it. Landon is hearing this song in his mind as he stares up at a dark gray sky at the very end of the movie, watch his eyes look upward. She is singing it to him from Heaven. “it was late in September”, that’s when Jamie went to Heaven, after their summer honeymoon. “I was changed”, of course she was, from her earthly body to her glorified heavenly body. The rest of the song relates to Jamie’s feelings for Landon, even now.
