(Oh happy day)
Oh, yeah (Oh happy day)
Oh, what a beautiful
Oh happy day
(Unintelligible line)
Oh happy day)
He washed my sins away (Oh happy day)

Jesus washed (My Jesus washed)
Jesus washed (My Jesus washed)
I know he really washed (My Jesus washed)
My sins away (Oh happy day)
Yes, he did (Oh happy day)

He lift me up (Oh happy day)
Stood me on my feet (Oh happy day)
Know what that happens
When he got me out of the streets (Oh happy day)

My Jesus washed (My Jesus washed)
My Jesus washed (My Jesus washed)
I know he washed (My Jesus washed)
My sins away (Oh happy day)

Now listen to me (Oh happy day)
You can talk about me (Oh happy day)
As much as you please (Oh happy day)
The more you talk (Oh happy day)
I’m gonna bend my knees (Oh happy day)

I’m gonna pray to my Jesus (Oh happy day)
To help poor me (Oh happy day)
I’m gonna tell him (Oh happy day)
Everything is free (Oh happy day)
God set me free (Oh happy day)
Oh, he really really do (Oh happy day)
Darlin’, he washed (Oh happy day)
Ah, down that wall (Oh happy day)

If you bend your knees
Pray to Jesus
Lord, he will help you
Get out of that ol’ ghetto
I know you really really washed
Lord, I know you washed
Jesus really really washed
My sins away

Well, have a happy, happy day
Oh, happy day
Ain’t that a beautiful day
Lordy Lordly Lordy (Oh happy day)
Lordy Lordy Lordy (Oh happy day)
Aint that a beautiful day (Oh happy day)
I’m so happy he washed (Oh happy day)
God I’m so happy he washed my sins (Oh happy day)
I’m so glad he washed my hands (Oh happy day)
And freed me from sin (Oh happy day)
That man always helped me (Oh happy day)
Everything that I ever would
(Oh happy day)
Ain’t that a beautiful day
(Oh happy day)
Lord, he really really washed

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh....these lyrics are incomplete. They're really quite horrible.

Gadjits, The
He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
