Your Time Is Gonna Come is an obscure Zeppelin tune that the Mighty Zep never performed live so when the Black Crowes got together with Zep mastermind/guitarist Jimmy Page for a series of benefit concerts to help disenfranchised kids at LA's Greek Theater during the By Your Side tour, both parties mutually agreed. Here, Frontbird, Chris Robinson rages on Robert Plant's writing with an untrammeled vitriol and rage that the Black Crowes really did straighten up and fly right higher than Zeppelin. Here, the Crowes own Your Time Is Gonna Come. Here, Christopher's performance, squawk and rage is palpable and cathartic-like Chris really means it this time-He would later divorce Hollywood starlet Kate Hudson-for proof of that listen to Locust Street from War Paint and The Last Place Where Love Lives from the double album SWAN swan song Before the Frost/Until the Freeze for more information. Anyway, Your Time Is Gonna Come is one of the best Rock/Blues covers I've heard-The Black Crowes Forever! The South's Gonna Do It Again!
