All my partners ask me why I take so much abuse
Why am I so faithful, honey, why are you so loose?
Why am I the one who never gets to take you home?
They don't know the things you do to me when we're alone

Irresistible bitch
I love the way you walk
Irresistible bitch
Ooh, the way you talk
Irresistible bitch
I love the way you kiss
Irresistible
Oh God, I wish I could resist

Every Friday night I call your butt up on the phone
A deeper voice answers and it says you're not at home
I bet you think that I'm a fool who'll go for any line
Well honey, put down all your money, you win every time

Irresistible bitch
I love the way you walk
Irresistible bitch
Ooh, the way you talk
Irresistible bitch
I love the way you kiss
Irresistible
Oh God, I wish I could resist, turn it up
Good Lordy-Lord
Turn it up
Good Lordy-Lord

Wait a minute!
Hell if I know why I let you drive my car
Don't I know that walking won't get me very far?
Don't I know that crying over you is just in vain
Well the things I lose, just don't add up to all the things I gain

Ooh, irresistible bitch
I love the way you walk
Irresistible bitch
I love the way you talk
Irresistible bitch, I love the way you kiss
Is this all?
Oh God I wish I could resist

Turn it up!
Turn it up!
Turn it up!
Turn it up!
Turn it up!

Wait a minute, I want a say something

Stole all my money
Played it off like it was a joke
Stealing all my money, baby, keep you by my side
Bleed me till I'm broke, oh yeah

Such an irresistible bitch, uh
Wish I could, wish I could resist

Irresistible bitch
I love the way you walk
Irresistible bitch
Ooh, the way you talk
Irresistible bitch
I love the way you kiss
Irresistible
Oh God, I wish I could resist

Turn it up!

Danceable bitch, uh

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
