St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church is in Austin Texas. The singer found a great woman there and wants to win her over but doesn't know how. "Tanked up on Elm Street" is about Elm Street in Dallas, Texas. In the 1980's and 1990's, there were several clubs in the area that hosted alternative bands. Naomi's, where the Old 97's made their debut, was there. (It's long since gone out of business though.)
