Let the right one in
Let the old dreams die
Let the wrong ones go
They cannot
They cannot
They cannot do
What you want them to
Let the right one in
Let the old dreams die
Let the wrong ones go
They do not 1
They do not 1
They do not see 1
What you want them to
Let the right one in
Let the old days lay 2
Put the tricks and schemes
For good, away
I will advise
until my mouth dries
I will advise you to
Let the right one slip in
Slip in
Slip in
And when at last it does
I'd say you were within your rights
To fight
The right ones and say
What kept you so long 3
What kept you so long
Let the old dreams die
Let the wrong ones go
They cannot
They cannot
They cannot do
What you want them to
Let the right one in
Let the old dreams die
Let the wrong ones go
They do not 1
They do not 1
They do not see 1
What you want them to
Let the right one in
Let the old days lay 2
Put the tricks and schemes
For good, away
I will advise
until my mouth dries
I will advise you to
Let the right one slip in
Slip in
Slip in
And when at last it does
I'd say you were within your rights
To fight
The right ones and say
What kept you so long 3
What kept you so long

I think there is a double meaning to this: one of course it is about letting the right person into your life, letting the past die so you are open to new things.
Two: I think it is obviously about sex - "let the right one slip in; they cannot do what you want them to?" I can't believe how long it took me to figure that out.
