I think it is basically saying that , no matter how glamorous you think your city nightlife , California is the best. Notice they used some of the hippest cities to illustrate their point. Miami, Vegas and New York. This is someone who is proud to live in California and that the only thing that matters in life is the nightlife of a locale. The nightlife is important to finding love and having fun and California rocks over the other major cities, fore mentioned.
