Lady of the Valley Lyrics
Lady of the valley
Can you hear me cry
In the stillness of the night
I have lost my brother
In the fights of the war
And my heart has broken down
In the night I cry
But no one seems to hear
I step into the night
But all I feel is fear
Lady of the valley
Can you bring him back
To the days when we were kids
Once we were together
We stood young and strong
Now it seems so long ago
The golden key
Is at the end of the chain
How it hurts, oh lady
Free me from this pain
In the night I cry to the lady of the valley
Cause I'll die without the lady of the valley
In the night I call to the lady of the valley
On my knees I fall before the lady of the valley
In the valley lies the treasure
And the lady guards it well
He who bears all the pressure
Is the one to break the spell
There's a sign that I've followed
And it has led me to your seat
I have brought my fallen brother
And I've laid him
Yes, I've laid him at your feet
In the night I cry to the lady of the valley
Cause I'll die without the lady of the valley
In the night I call to the lady of the valley
On my knees I fall before the lady of the valley
Can you hear me cry
In the stillness of the night
I have lost my brother
In the fights of the war
And my heart has broken down
But no one seems to hear
I step into the night
But all I feel is fear
Can you bring him back
To the days when we were kids
Once we were together
We stood young and strong
Now it seems so long ago
Is at the end of the chain
How it hurts, oh lady
Free me from this pain
Cause I'll die without the lady of the valley
In the night I call to the lady of the valley
On my knees I fall before the lady of the valley
And the lady guards it well
He who bears all the pressure
Is the one to break the spell
There's a sign that I've followed
And it has led me to your seat
I have brought my fallen brother
And I've laid him
Yes, I've laid him at your feet
Cause I'll die without the lady of the valley
In the night I call to the lady of the valley
On my knees I fall before the lady of the valley

I love it but i think it would be cool if you used the chorus in the beginning
I think this song is about what someone feels when a loved one dies. Wishing they could come back, praying to "The Lady of the Valley" etc
I think this song is pretty straight forward. The singer's brother was also his hero, the one who just excelled at everything. Now the brother is dead and the Singer is in mourning.
I think it's about a faded lost love that got lost in time and found itself the same way in the end still chained to the one as a child when love was perfect and before it was spoiled and they died away from each other but they were both bound and only coming to the conclusion of love between them would set them both free. Which by the way was that as children when they thought they knew love and died for love and remained in love all along they were over taking in sin and blinded by true love of God the Father and his love and was out in the world lost and cold and alone or so they thought but true love never dies and what lyrics aren't written are the ones where they both awaken in light of love of a new world in a new life together they will be side by side still as they were always meant to be from the beginning before they fell down in what they were fooled in believing after the snake had bitten them
