This I believe was composed by Rod Terperton, who's works include many hits for many different bands and artists including I believe Michael Jackson, and actually, more importantly, his own hit band, Heatwave. RIP Johnny Wilder, original singer of Ted's masterpiece-This song for me, by Heatwave, has been with me my entire life, without losing it's magic. If you have never heard the amazing Heatwave version, treat yourself now. It is a magical journey, and personally my favorite song of all time. For real!
