great and unusually rocking song for elton john (no offense) obviously about him and Bernie Taupin as starving artists trying to make a living. As always Bernie delivers great lyrics filled with imagery, and once again I am blown away by Elton's ability to understand and convey them through the music. What a duo, they were one of the greats.
Seems to me the "meal tickets" have to be contracts with the music business leeches, the ones that bleed you to death but you got to sign if you want to get into when you are outside looking in.
