I love the instrumental version of this song, and I have actually left instructions for the song to be played at my funeral, as my ashes are being scattered on the water of the lake in Minnesota, where I have lived for 30 years. I especially love the beginning of the song, in how the clarinet has a plaintive, quavering sound. So haunting and full of emotion.
