Killdozer Lyrics
You want to give up your time
To someone who hasn't seen the fight.
See how perfect they smile.
Does that not come across as strange to you?
Go and adore them.
Go and adore them.
[Chorus]
Take these bricks and build it up to the greatest height.
We will knock it down.
We will knock it down. (2x)
Go and adore them.
Take it all.
Take it all.
[Chorus]
To someone who hasn't seen the fight.
See how perfect they smile.
Does that not come across as strange to you?
Go and adore them.
Take these bricks and build it up to the greatest height.
We will knock it down.
We will knock it down. (2x)
Take it all.

I remember when this song came out. The bassist was the former bassist of the band Bloc Party, one that I am very fond of, even nowadays (even though now it is basically the band 'Kele' with Occasional Bloc Party guitars).
Anyway, getting back to the song: It resonates as a anti-establishment song, it has a rebel vibe, I wonder if bassist Gordon Moakes was in the same page as the lyricist.
I know the singer is the same guy from The Automatic, anyone has more insight into this? Some interview, anything that would help us know what the song is about?
I liked Young Legionnaire a lot!
