I think this song is talking about oppressive leaders and how the writer/singer is standing up against them. The chorus really solidifies my thoughts: "I'm no saint but I can't live this way, I cannot relate, I retaliate against you." This is just my interpretation, and I'm sure it has other meanings I haven't thought of.
