Strange Wave

I've been riding on a strange wave
and I'm trying to get back
but you know that it's hard, you know that it's hard
I've been out here for days
all alone, set adrift
with a head full of dreams that all seem to shift
to the things I heard in songs on the radios as a kid
why can't I feel the way now as back then when I did?

too busy chasing my shadow to ever leave a marks
